Workforce Development
Employment Information Sessions are designed to identify San Francisco residents for construction trades opportunities city- and state-wide. All ranges of experience in the construction trades (Pre-apprentice, Apprentice, Journey Level) are welcome.
Experienced trades workers can register for more information on upcoming opportunities and projects that apply the Local Hire Ordinance.
As a service partner with the Office of Workforce and Economic Development, APRISF provides on-going recruitment for the CityBuild Academy to individuals interested in joining a union construction trade. CityBuild Academy is an 18-week pre-apprenticeship course taken at City College of San Francisco, Evans Campus in collaboration with the City of San Francisco, construction contractors and union trades.
