Census 2020
The A. Philip Randolph Institute San Francisco (APRI) will develop an outreach and education program that builds community capacity by facilitating culturally and linguistically competent strategies that engage hard-to-count and vulnerable populations in the 2020 Census.
APRI leads a coalition of organizations to conduct effective, innovative, and provide culturally relevant outreach and education. In 2010, APRI partnered with Project Complete and Communities of Opportunity to exceed outcomes in previous decades and in 2020 will build on the prior experience.
To ensure depth and reach APRI has created a strategic collaborative with the sector’s best and most innovative community outreach organizations: Project Complete, Contigo Communications and BMAGIC. Each organization has an exceptional track record engaging the hardest to reach populations.
Our strategies are targeted to reach historically low-participating populations in San Francisco.
Our goal is to motivate residents in hard-to-count communities to participate in the 2020 Census.
