In 2011, APRISF initiated a community outreach and professional employment services contract with the Office of Economic and Workforce Development’s construction employment agency, CityBuild.  APRISF currently provides outreach and referral services for employment opportunities on the Hunters View Development Project.

APRISF community outreach services are designed to target qualified Bayview-Hunters Point (BVHP) residents, inform and engage community members in the employment opportunities related to the project, based on a hiring criteria defined by the Mayor’s Office of Housing HOPE-SF .  Employment services include conducting employment orientations, assessing candidates to determine if they meet the minimum qualifications for employment opportunities on the Hunters View Development Project; and provide case management services.

Program services offered by APRISF are targeted to address the needs of low-income families living in San Francisco.  Services are intended to address the multiple barriers young adults and adults face while attempting to secure employment.

In addition, APRI provides CityBuild referral database of qualified young adults, ages 18-24, for admission to the CityBuild Academy and Construction Administration Training Program.

Case management services are intended to address the multiple barriers young adults and adults face while attempting to secure employment.  CityBuild employment specialists participate in weekly information sessions held at the APRISF offices.
